Ari, Azz (to friends) Buzz or Buzzy (to my family)2. Three words to describe you?
Determined, independent, giggly3. What exercise gets you happily active?
Anything and everything. I love to mix up my training and keep it exciting. Some of my favourites are boxing at Fightfit, HIIT training at Foxfit, F45, ride/spinning at Bodhi and Ride and reformer pilates at KX.
4. What can’t you live without?
Exercise is worryingly probably my number 1 thing closely followed by my family (Mum, dad, sisters and nephews) who I’m super close with, my beautiful boyfriend Dean and my gorgeous puppy Paisley. Oh and sweet potatoes, considering they’re a staple in every meal of mine.
5. Who is your biggest inspiration, and why?
My family. It’s cliche but they really are the people who have shaped me. My parents have come from not a lot and created an insanely privileged and incredible life for us. My sisters have shown me the strength it takes to make it in the acting industry and chase your dreams. My family have always been my best friends, biggest supporters and motivators.
Hmm, can I say fridge and pantry? My absolute staples in life are sweet potato, oats, avocado, broccoli, veggie patties (bite me fine foods brand - you can thank me later 😂), nutritional yeast and really any form of vegan carb or dessert.7. If you could be anyone else for a day who would it be, and why?
I am completely judging myself for this and I hate to say it but the way celebrities live fascinates me. I’d love to see what a day in the Kardashian life is like. It looks so bloody glamorous from the outside but I am so sure it’s nothing like that. It’s a life I’d never want full time but would be so interesting to experience for a small moment.8. You’re a new addition to the crayon box. What color would you be and why?
Oh wow, this is strangely tough. I’d say a baby dusty pink. Girly but not over the top. I don’t like to stick out too much but I love a little bit of pink.9. How would you describe your job to a child?
Depends which job. My acting job I’d say i get to tell stories to audiences and pretend to be lots of different people every day. My job in fitness I’d say I get to help people find the healthiest and happiest versions of themselves by pushing them to sweat their butts off!10. Vegemite or peanut butter?
Peanut butter every single time. I’d rather poke my eye out then eat vegemite (can you tell I wasn’t born in Australia? Haha)11. If you’ve had a bad day what do you do to cheer yourself up?
First and foremost, some sort of massive sweat sesh. Exercise is my therapy and it’s the only thing that totally gets me out of my head. Followed by cuddling my boyfriend, eating Spudbar and binge-watching some Netflix in bed.12. When do you feel most balanced?
Balance is something I definitely struggle with. I am such an all or nothing person so if I feel really proud of myself when I have a sense of balance. At the end of each year, my family and I go to Byron Bay and there’s something about that place that just makes me feel so content and at ease. The amazing food, the training, the family time, laying by the pool with my book - it’s definitely my most balanced time.13. Who’s your favourite Disney character
I think it would be wrong if I didn’t say Ariel?14. If I’m stressed I….
like to be alone. I’m a bit of a lone wolf and I like to deal with things in my own way. My bedroom is my sanctuary so I’ll usually have a bath and then just lay down and either watch a feel good rom-com or go down the back hole that is YouTube.15. Biggest fear?
So many things! I’m such a scaredy-cat/worry wart. I don’t like heights or anything remotely dangerous. Needles are a no-no. Pretty much anything that is slightly risky is scary to me - I’ve always been that annoyingly cautious person.16. I am happiest when…
I’m doing what I love. Whether that be instructing people through fitness, or on set of a tv show or going for a run or hanging out with my family. So many things make me happy so as long as I include at least one of them in a day then i’m good to go!17. If you could be anywhere right now where would you be?
New York. It’s my favourite place in the world and lately I’ve just been craving a trip there!
18. What’s the most useless talent you have?
I can put my legs behind my head? I’m double jointed in a lot of my body and it’s absolutely useless haha.
I love both! I am definitely in a better mood in summer when the suns out and everyone seems happier. But, I love getting rugged up and cuddling in bed during winter so Melbourne is perfect for me!20. What’s your favourite quote/mantra, and why?
‘Comparison is the thief of joy’. I’ve spent so much of my life and still catch myself sometimes comparing myself to others and I have learnt that it will never make you happy or benefit you in anyway. Stick to your own path, you do you and remember that everyone has their own struggles. Life is way too short to spend your time wishing to be someone else or have something else, be grateful for what you have and life will instantly become more wonderful.
