Self-care Routine

Every now and then we all have blah days. One of those days where no matter how hard you try to be positive and upbeat your just can’t pump yourself up. On those days it is better to accept it and give yourself some TLC and take it slow.

Here are some things to try when you’re experiencing one of those days:

  1. Take time out
  2. Light some candles
  3. Put on my favourite playlist
  4. Have a bubble bath
  5. Give yourself a facial
  6. Have a cup of herbal tea
  7. Speak to a loved one, like your mum. They always know what’s best.
  8. Watch a movie or read a good book
  9. Go to the gym or for a walk(if you have the energy), moving my body helps with self-confidence and also helps to clear the head.
  10. Have a glass of wine.

It is so important to listen to your body and give it the love it needs.

Enjoy your rest days and your days off. Think of them as your ‘recharging’ days. Just like our phones, we all need to recharge every now and then.
